We're careful about who we work with, choosey in fact, and we've built a team that design elegant, intuitive and solid online solutions on time, and to budget. We've also got a strong network of trusted collaborators that we bring in as and when their specialist skills are required.
Frank Staiger | Managing Director
Frank Staiger is Managing Director and founder of VCommunications. He has over twelve years experience in online design, development and digital management with a growing and exciting client portfolio including both private and public sectors. He has worked with many art directors, studios, developers and clients during his career.
VCommunications is the engine room driving his unstoppable passion for the internet and the digital sector. What's more, the experience he brings to projects mediates between excitement for new channels and a sound business sense of what will work to deliver on the bottom line.
Before founding the company back in 1998, German-born Frank was working freelance for many years in the media industry, including production and team management for large magazine publications. He also worked in branding, graphic design, pre-production and typography for traditional advertising agencies across Manchester.

James Healey | Lead Development
James Healey is the new Lead Developer at VCommunications. James' interest in the web started over ten years ago. He has several years experience of working professionally for government organisations and international software houses as a front-end and server-side developer.
Along with being a developer James has an eye for design. From graphic, web and print design to typography and architecture. He's also spent the last ten years learning to play guitar and recently taken up playing the Ukulele.

Matt Cox | Design and Development
Matt Cox is front-end Designer and Developer at VCommunications. Starting his career in traditional print media seven years ago, Matt has progressively concentrated his skills toward design and development of online media and has helped deliver fantastic projects for clients such as Microsoft, Reebok, Orange, 3i and Kellogg's.
Matt is recognised internally amongst larger organisations and influential pioneering web communities, such as Opera Software, Flickr and Last.fm for research and testing that he dedicates towards their products and services. He maintains a dominant online presence and is continuously learning and developing a firm understanding of emerging technology.

Nicola Rowlands | Studio Administration and Design
Nicola Rowlands is a trained designer and copywriter who has joined the team at VCommunications to drive our projects forward. Having recently completed research and design work for the BBC's New Media development, Nicola is also editorial assistant at an online magazine as well as a freelance illustrator.
Alongside producing graphics for magazines such as Plus1 and Sideburn, she designs and sells off the wall greeting cards and fabrics that are sold online, in galleries and shops.

Richard Collinge | Multimedia Development
Richard Collinge is multimedia developer at VCommunications and has over ten years experience in creating both interactive online user experiences and multimedia CD/DVD roms. He has worked for major clients such as Adidas, AstraZeneca, Halewood International and Diabetes UK.
Richard is mainly a front-end developer, with expert use of both Flash ActionScript 2 and Adobe After Effects. He also has a solid knowledge of CSS and back-end PHP, making him an essential part of our team. He has experience in the medical multimedia industry as well as producing great work for various Design Studios in the North West.

The Coffee Machine | Java
The Coffee Machine (our beloved Jura F70) is an integral part of the team. Whilst it needs a lot of love, care and attention, the favour is returned as it powers the VCommunications team with a hearty flow of coffee throughout the working week.
